New Tires
Well I couldn't take the noise any longer from the stock Bridgestone RE030's. I just bought some Bridgestone S-03's from COSTCO. They haven't come in yet so I still have a chance to change my mind.
I don't race around a lot, so I am really looking for a quiet tire. I rotate the tires every 5k miles and have gotten 21k out of the RE030's. There is probably another 5K in them if they didn't wear out on the inside. Lexus dealer says the car is properly aligned. I just don't see how that is possible with the inside wear I am seeing.
Anyway...just checking to see if I made the right choice. They are rated very highly on the tirerack website. What does the group think?

While the S-03's are much more quiet than my old Yoko AVS Sports, I would not purchase them for that reason. They are not a quiet tire and they will get louder as they wear.

I got a set of BFG KDWS (23/45/17) at Costco also. These are about half the cost of the S-03s and Pilot Sport A/S but with a higher wear rating, also Z-rated tires. Only thing is these do not look as agressive as the 03's or Pilot Sport A/S.
So far, they are very quiet and extremely responsive, great in the rain also.
