Default 17" wheels for winter tires on an es 300h - looking for suggestions.

Happy holidays all!

I've been looking around for some decent wheels to mount winter tires on for a 2013 es 300h and can't seem to find any listings. I want to keep the 17" wheels due to loads and ride but the pickings are slim. I figured that I would be able to find something on Tirerack, but no luck there either.

I considered getting a set of OEM wheels from Lexus, but the prices I've been seeing are outrageous for a stock wheel.

Suggestions and recommendations are welcomed!

There should be hundreds of 17" wheels that will work on your car...

I'm not sure I understand the issue - you just don't like the way they look or you aren't finding any at all?

I'm just not finding them. Like when I go to Tire Rack and enter the vehicle info, wheels arent even selectable. If I enter the wheel details manually i get a that there are no matches for my car.

I've gone to other wheel sites as well, and 17"s seem to be a challenge. 18's? No problem.

The Tire Rack will have wheel fitments for that vehicle soon, but until we have done a scan of the vehicle to have CAD drawings for brakes and suspension we do not offer any wheels. I'll keep an eye out and let you know when the site has been updated.

Zig - thanks for that. Say why do you need the CAD drawings before offering any wheels? Wouldn't it make sense to at least offer up wheels that fit the exact OEM dimensions?

Just curious.

Just because a wheel has the correct bolt pattern, offset, diameter and width doesn't necessarily mean they will fit the car - things like brakes and sometimes ball joint clearances can cause issues with certain wheels...

Chances are you can look at 2012 fitments and find something that will work, however to be guaranteed fitment, you would need to contact the manufacturer or wait until TR or another similar company has done the testing...

Default Wheels here!

I was just on TireRack and the wheels for the '13 300h are now up! Nice selection of 17" and 18" wheels too. Thanks TireRack!

We don't even know that exact OEM wheel dimensions until we physically see the vehicle, so they go hand in hand. Bolt pattern and offset could probably be found without the car but we would never know the barrel size, center bore and other dimensions without seeing the vehicle in person.
