Lost faith in Wheels Boutique!
Saw an auction on Ebay for HRE wheels...saying that they will fit Mercedes and Lexus?!?!?
We all know that the bolt pattern is different.
Also check out the offset and cars said to fit... I can say no way on a +31 for a GS and I'm really doubting an IS.
Auction #1874162464:
"SPECS: FRONT: 19X8.5 31 OFFSET REAR: 19X9.5 38 OFFSET TIRES: 235/35/19 YOKOHAMA AVS SPORT THESE TIRES ARE 90% FRONT. REAR TIRES ARE 245/35/19 YOKOHAMA AVS SPORT 1 TIRES IS 100% THE OTHER IS 70% REAR BLOWOUT REPLACED ONE IN THE REAR IT IS BRAND NEW!!!!!! THESE WHEELS WILL FIT MERCEDES BENZ C CLASS, E CLASS, CLK, SLK, AUDI A4, LEXUS IS 300, GS 300/400/430, SC300/400!!"
Defintely not a wheel "expert".

I can say:
19x8.5 +31 = same frontspacing as 19x9 +37
19x9.5 +38 = same frontspacing as 19x10 +44
Both work great on a GS... that's what I'd use if I had a second-gen car. They are certainly a bit aggressive for an IS.
As far as drilling goes- they would be 5x112 for Mercedes, 5x114.3 for Lexus... not sure which he has. We won't re-drill PCDs (bolt patterns) on our wheels, for liability reasons.

I mean these are HRE wheels...if you want the best, buy the best with the right offset and spacing!!
I had a 18x8.5 +31 on the front of my GS with a 245 tire and it stuck outside the fender!
IMO.
