Question What do you think of these rims?

Hey, I need some opinion's here... I got a black sc just like this one, although I got the VIS kit on. What does everyone think about these rims? Chrome or silver so they don't take too much attention away from the car? Any thoughts?

Default GS RIMS

i just put the GS rims on mine, and they look nice, ill post pictures as soon as it get the proper lug nuts that dont stick out an inch.

speaking of the new rims, they drive great, turns better, handles better, a little more louder but nothing noticeable, i havent had a good test run with them in fear of taking an icy corner and ending up face to face with oncoming traffic. ill let you guys know full results when the roads get dry

I think that for a conservative style rim like those (not many sharp angles, smooth design) that chrome makes it look really nice. These wheels look SHARP while moving!

I saw a set of 18" non-chrome similiar (not sure if they were altstadt or knockoffs) wheels on a SC (i think it had a VIS kit on also) and the wheels looked O.K. Chrome on black cars look great.

Get 19" wheels though, those 18s look will look smaller with a kit.

I might be biased though... that's my car in the picture

I was going to sell these wheels and get some larger brakes and 19" same wheels with black chrome centers... but sigh... i had my transmission/gasket problem so new wheels and new brakes are going to have to wait

Dunno about your part of the hood, but around LA, everyone with a HOOPTIE has chrome wheels...why? Because they think that chrome makes their ride a "luxury" ride...but nowadays, every POS company chrome plates their wheels...so even $10 specials can be had chrome plated...that's why I say it's played out.

Default rims

personally i think they're a little too flashy. not bad, but i'd go for something more subtle. but hey, that's only me.

I'm with Manaray on this one.

Chrome played out..something of the 80's and 90's.

Maybe the silver or polish just seems more Japanese/'JDM' which makes it appealing.
