Default tire size decision

Whats up everybody. I have a 1993 es300 with factory 15 in chrome wheels i want to put a wider tire and lower but not to low so it looks stupid i was thinking a 215/60/15 or a 225/50/15 i'm having a tough time deciding. Please help.

225's are most likely too wide to be mounted on the stock 15's. Going above 215 on aftermarket rims may cause some rubbing, based on the experiences of some of the members of this forum.
Note: 225/50/15 seems a little small with respect to outside diameter. You'd be better off with 225/55/15, if the 225's were to fit.

Good site for finding wheel/tire setups with equivelant outside diameter to the stock 205/65/15 setup.
