Talking Termist TM1 mounted

I finally got my WORK Termist TM1 wheels! It took a while but with gs4will/Williams’ help we got it all sorted out. I think he was patient with me?, saw no &^$# on his E-mails and he answered ALL my questions. They are 17x 8 +35 offset with 255/45 ZR Firestone Firehawk tires. Over all diameter is just .3” larger that stock, which equates to a 1.12% of change, so at 75 mph I’m going 75.84 mph - no problem! Steering response has increased dramatically, as for the looks - you be the judge. And yes I do intend to lower it soon!
I had them mounted at a local shop “Why Drive Stock” by Doc, who you will see soon on SpeedTV (vision) - High Rev Tuners. He’s the only one I trusted to do it right. When he was mounting them he told his helper that Work Wheels are always absolutely dead on. Personally I’ve never seen a finer crafted two piece wheel, even the valve stems are impressive. So here they are…

i was going to say this but didnt. i was wondering why SRQ400 waited so long for the WORKS when alot of companies seem to make a similar design. but now i know...WORKS attention to detail and craftsmanship. good choice on the wheels. looks very good

Nice choice on the wheels but why the 17x8 sizing? Why not 18's?

Also, did you noticed if these wheels are welded 2-piece wheels or true 2-piece wheels (where the bolts actually hold the wheel together..) I have been wondering about this...

Work makes nice wheels...

Manaray,
Yes they are real two piece wheels, they’re not welded. And I’m not going to take them apart to show you - lol! Trust me…
17’s not 18’s, personal choice but basically - tire side wall height and tire cost verses visual effect and over all cost difference. I’m still considering wider wheels for the rear to be able to apply 285/40 17’s but probably won’t. The tire choices and cost between 17’s and 18’s was a big consideration, they don’t make that many 18’s and you can almost get 20’s cheaper than 18’s.

Cool, so they are real 2-piece wheels...thanks for the info!

Someone else wanted the Versus Isotta spoke and it's a welded 2-piece wheel...that's what made me concerned with some of these new 2-piece wheels...

Default Ordered the wheels

Great picture.

Because of this post I ordered the Chrome Termist TM1 17 inch wheels from Peter at Wheel Experts yesterday. I spent several months looking and this sold me.

Thanks
