I bought cpo 2009 with 21000 miles and it came with falken 235/55 r18 ze-512 tires.

I was wondering what happened to original tires(seems like they would be still good at such low miles)?

Also do think these are good tires for the rx?

ZE-512's are a performance based tire, on the medium/lower side of things... I am sure they are fine in most aspects, but they are not going to have good winter traction at all... Depending on how well the previous owner maintained the tires, could have been an issue, also, if it is an AWD vehicle, if one tire became unusable for any reason and the other tires had a decent amount of wear on them, they would have been required to replace the full set, or, perhaps they had a tire issue and just replaced the whole set anyways... I've seen tires with less than 100 miles on them ruined for multiple different reasons, mileage only matters if everything else goes perfect...

thanks for the insight didnt see all those angles.they seem ok but i never drove the rx with anything else, so it is hard to get opinion.

driving around with them for month now, i find them to give alot of road noise

Changing to a quality Bridgestone or Michelin tire would improve that many times over...
