Question 17X8 recommendations?

Looking for 17x8 wheel choices for the SC 430 to go for a little softer ride on Michelin Pilot AS 245/45/17.

Some of the wheels I have seen from Japan look great, but I can't read enough Japanese to see price or how to buy them?

Thanks.

Default No dishes, please...

Probably lean toward the Spoke look. More toward Silver or Silver/Graphite.

Will the 17in Lexus wheel from the GS fit the 245/45/17? Saw them at an auto show today and they are possible. I assume that they would accept the RF sensors.

Default Awesome 18in

GS4Will -

I still would like to go with the 17in if I can use the GS 400 OEM wheels (or similar). Do you know if those rims are 17x8?

Also, if I go with the 18, I would love to find the wheels in this tread:

Thanks for your help and wisdom!

GW..i think stock 17s are 17x7.5 or could be 17x8..will check my manual for you tomorrow..

the 18s that you listed are nice wheel..i saw them in person..not sure if they are OEM though as toyota japan site does not offer such option i think..you can just put on the L center caps..nonetheless, good 18x9s....esp for the price

gkw, you can get those 18" wheels directly from the guy that's selling them on eBay or from Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota listed under the vendors link on the home page. The guy that's selling them on eBay is Charlie Ngo. I bought mine from him. Contact him at NGOBROS2000@aol.com. Here is a link to a list of his auctions and you'll see a bunch of auctions for those 18's.

I asked Steve Ganz about these wheels and he indicated that they are an "accessory" wheel offered in Japan. In other words, they are wheels offered by the dealer as an accessory. I don't think they are a wheel offered as a factory option.
