Thumbs up Kranze Cerberus II's installed...

Well we finally go around to taking a couple of photos of Chris's GS400 with the Weds Kranze Cerberus II's on 'em...and as far as I know, the first set of Cerberus II's in the USA! Kinda cool...eh?

While we were messing with his brakes (test fitting the new brake package we have coming out), I decided to mount one wheel to my SC (just for kicks)...well here's the photos...

I apologize for the bad photography and such...plus I had to photochop my car because it was too high...and I also apologize for the watermarking...but we all know why that's necessary...

We will take some better photos later...

Gotta love the lips...

BTW: The tire setup is the 19 inch "Fat" setup...245/40-19 up front and 275/35-19 out back...let me tell ya, rides VERY nicely...not much harsher than the stock 17's...

Also, his car is lowered on Tein FLEX coilovers...

yea, i'm upgrading my tires from 245/35 & 275/30 19's to this size.. the pictures make the tires look bulky. is it just the picture?

no rubbing? back looks way low.

The chrome on these wheels is not your "normal" bling-bling chrome. As Manaray stated in a previous thread, it is almost like a "black" chrome. It is very hard to describe, but looks nice on a dark color car.

Mike: are they really that aggressive on the SC? They look almost as if they're sticking out in the front... not what I would have expected. The fitment on the GS looks almost perfect.

BTW, what are the sizes & offsets?

Not too bad looking, definitely better-looking on the GS than on the SC. Honestly, I can't figure out the appeal of this wheel style, looks bulky and almost played-out with all of the knockoffs around, especially in chrome. How will they look in five years from now? Are these the Antera 109s (three-spoke) of the new millenium? Sorry, gotta be me!

jbbnet-
The back is tucked perfectly...no rubbing at all. Rides almost like the stock 17's.

SocalSc4-
The sizes are Bridgestone S-03:
245/40/19 on 19x8.5 +41 Front
275/35/19 on 19x10 +48 Rear

Hmm, looks good on the GS, but funny on the SC.... Maybe it's the really low ride height combined with the stock ground effects? Thanks for the pics though Mike! Gives me an idea...

Bob - Yeah, that surprise me too on the SC...so I'm wondering if +38 or higher would be too much...have you test fitted your setup on a SC? (19x9 +36 or something?)

Some people like this look and some people don't. Bob, you're a little biased...

The rear is +47...not +48 Definitely wouldn't do it any lower than +47 on this wheel...

Lex400SC - Really? Hmmm, I like it on the SC too...

JBB - It might look a little bulky because the tires are MEATY. They are S03's and they CONSIDERABLY meatier than my Nittos. Also, since he is running the "fat" setup, it has slight taller sidewalls...the benefits is more wheel protection and a better ride. Plus it raised the car up 1/2" so if you add a body kit, you can get the lower look while still having decent ground clearance. This is the same setup I'm doing my SC...the 245/35-19 and 275/30-19 setup look like rubberbands in comparison.

Manaray,
thanks. I have those tires too. Very good choice.

I assume your comparing this ride feeling to the regular 19 set up 245/35 275/30 also... i tend to feel everything as i drive
