Default Are Enkie wheels considered weak for street use?

I have a set of Rp03's that i'm going to use for my SC300. I've been reading on a couple of forums saying that Enkie wheels bend easily. Has anyone experienced this?
The SC300 is a heavy car car, so I'm wondering if the Rp03's can withstand daily abuse.

Enkei makes most OEM wheels for most cars out there.. I guess it depends on the wheel/spoke design and how thin/stretched of a tire these people are using.. But Enkei is a very reputable company.

They also make Mugen wheels and plenty of other forged wheels for other companies..

enkeis in general aren't that weak, but rp03's are probably one of their stronger lines. They're a bit heavier than rpf1s but they can also take a bit more abuse, so I wouldn't worry. I've owned about 3-4 sets that were made by enkeis so far, enkei evo5, rpf1, rp03, blitz type-01's (made by enkei), etc, and i've never had problems when I dd'd on any of them.

As a percentage, you won't find any higher percent of Enkei wheels that bend more than any other brand... As a whole number, probably yes, but, Enkei is probably one of the biggest (if not the absolute biggest) wheel manufacturers in the world... they make OEM wheels for all sorts of car manufacturers and aftermarket wheel companies as well... After that, its all about design and if the wheel was designed to be ultra lightweight and high performance based, or more rugged for street use... they are pretty well defined which is which on their website...

the saying goes that you can pick any two of these three: "cheap, light, strong" but the reality is, even an expensive forged wheel, if made to be super light, is not going to be as strong as a cheap heavily built cast wheel...

The Enkei wheel you have is definitely for everyday use. Enkei uses their MAT technology when manufacturing this wheel which makes it even stronger than a standard gravity cast wheel. The RP03 is one of our more popular wheel and is sold for everyday use. I have posted there description of the technology below:

MAT Technology
Enkei developed a new manufacturing process to produce the next aluminum wheel generation. The Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T) combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming technology called spinning process. Using this new technology of casting and rim forming by M.A.T process, is critical to improve drastically the material property and strength of the wheels. Rim-Rolled technology shapes the rim to improve material elongation without sacrificing the wheels hardness. Direct to the racetrack to the street, M.A.T. Technology features forged processes at a lower cos.t
