Default Spacers + Rings?

So I've been kinda stumped on this idea lately, but could you theoretically place a plastic hubcentric ring on the end (the wheel centric part) of the spacer to convert it ? The only reason I ask is because I found a good deal on a set, but they're wheel centric and hub centric for a 60.1 bore. I know the lexus hub is 60.1, but my new set of wheels is 73 and I've got rings for 60.1 -> 73. Would this work / be a safety issue?

Thanks
