Found the wheels that I want - check them out
I finally found a wheel that I really like. They Lexus of Japan OEM wheels in an 18x9 size in graphite.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks Wheel Experts, the reason I asked is that when I search for wheels on sites like the Tire Rack, they always suggest a staggered approach, like 18 x 8 on the front and 18 x 8.5 or 9 on the back so it had me concerned about rubbing in the front. Is the correct size 275/35R18 for 18 x 9 wheels?

Yeah, I looked in my JDM Toyota Catalogs and didn't see those anywhere...but who knows, they can be brand new?
Anyone of you guys from Japan able to verify that this is a OEM JDM wheel?
Not bad looking though...

Yes dkny_112, I saw those on eBay. Originally I didn't want to post the link and get into a bidding war with CL people on eBay but the guy has multiple sets available. Here are links to the 4 auctions for those wheels.

The guy that's selling them told me he has a lot available and that he already sold 200 to Longo Lexus but he expects them to buy more.
Manaray, I sent an email to Steve Ganz and he's trying to get info from his Japan connections to see what he can find out.

On the tire size, I didn't notice this the first time I looked at the pics I attached. On one of the pics of the paper inserts (I'm guessing from inside the rim box), it says that the largest sized tize is 245/45R18.
Here's my dilema.
To match my current overall diameter/circumference of my 225/55R16 tires, I'll have to go with 245/40R18 tires which I can get in the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.

I'm not sure if 245/45R18 will fit in my wheel well without rubbing but if I go with that size I gain additional sidewall height of .4 inches (from 3.9 to 4.3). This additional sidewall height will come in handy on the extremely smooth roads of NYC. Since this the diameter/circumference is bigger than my stock 16s, it's going make my speedometer read 3.6% too slow. The problem is that this size isn't available in the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S only their Grand Touring All Season tire, the Pilot HX MXM4.

Before anybody suggests any other tires, I'm only considering all season tires because I live in NY. Granted, I'll probably switch back to my 16's in the winter but I still want an all season tire for the wet weather traction. I'm also a little biased towards Michelin.
3 Questions for the wheel experts.
1) Will 245/45R18 fit in the GS300 wheel well? If it doesn't then it makes the answer to question 2 easy.
2) Which size tire would you pick and why?
3) Regardless of size, which type of Michelin tires would you pick, the Pilot Sport A/S or the Pilot HX MXM4, and why?
Thanks.
