17" OER vs. 17" OEM
I Bought a set of used OER wheels + tires from a local CL member...got a good deal, but I wonder how the 17" OER wheels are vs. 17" OEM. I also bought one OEM wheel + tire from another CL member as the spare. I'm looking at the wheels and they look the same except that the OEM has the JWL (I think its JWL) logo near the center cap and says "TOYOTA" on the back and the OER has some "W" looking logo on it and says "Made in China" on it.
I've searched the site and seen several discussions on this topic but was hoping someone could shed some light on it. Most people say that 17" OER are "crap" or low quality, but nobody has said why. I'm looking at the wheel, it looks exactly like a 17" OEM. So what is the real difference on the 17" OER vs. OEM? Feedback appreciated.
