***Dish Wheel, 18 or 19?***
hey there wheel lovers, just want to get some opinions here:
on certain dish design wheels, esp the ones with Diamond Cut Polish finish, 18s often give on-lookers the "effect' of 19s. such is due to the massive wheel area, and also the of the dish relfection from high polished deep lip.
Question: if the price difference is ~$300/set, wheels only, which would be your choice?
stated differently, you would have 18s that people will tell you look like 19s and 19s would look like 20s...
reasons and opinions would be great...thank you
btw, both 18 and 19 would have the same exact lip depth....basically all other factors hold constant....

I say 19's since they look way better on bigger cars then 18's. Ive seen 18's on LS400 and they look small. If you go with 18's I think you will be covering a wider range of Lexus models though.

It would depend upon the wheel I guess. If the wheel well looked full, but the wheels were only 18's, then you saved some money and got a little bit more comfortable ride to boot.
To this day, whenever I see Jazziz's Volk Sceptre's, I still double check the tire size just to re-confirm they are 18's and not 20's.

For my 2 cents I have to say 19's for sure.. I've been told a few times that my Work Euroline LS look like 20's.. For $300 difference I would go the 19's route.. Tires are more expensive thou but for the GS, LS or SC I would say 19's should be the minimum size you should go with and the ride is great on 19's and i've hit a few potholes pretty hard but the extra rubber on 19's and the quality of the Work wheel I have no issues *Knock on Wood*

Ken...thanks for sharing that info with me....yeah tyre cost is a non-issue for me
...just worry about other factors..i would love for people to ask me " are those 20s?"...no sir, they are 19s...do they look 20s to you..thank you.hehehe

19", 19", 19"......I thought we went down that 18" path already. Unless you have a wheel like mine which looks like 19" to 20", but again, you like the dish style. Mine is only temp too.
Just get the 19".......... You don't want me to give you crap on your 18" when I get my 19".....do you? Oh wait, I still need to be nice to you until my new shoes are on me....heheee
