Hi I'm running:
Size: 19 x 9 wheels
Offset: 55mm
In the rear of my GS400, what's the widest I can go without rubbing?
I was thinking 285/30zr19

The data The Tire Rack has indicates a 275/30R19 is the largest for the rear with no rubbing and 100% no modifications. The 285/30R19 is slightly wider and taller and has more than likely been done before but I can not guarantee this will fit with zero modifications. If you were open to a fender lip roll or reshaping the inner fender liner it could probably be done.
