I have Speed Star Racing GT3 3 piece wheels from Japan. I bought 3 piece becuase i thought 3 piece wheels could be fixed easier than one piece. Is that true?

Can i buy sections of these wheels or do you think it's going to be cheaper to buy a whole wheel again if it's damaged?

depends on the type/extent of damage...3pc is easier to fix than 1pc...for 3pc, most of the time you simply replace the outter rim(for bent/curb scratch)...BUT, you need to find a good shop to re-assemble back the wheel

or, you can contact wheelamerica.com as they have shops across the country that can fix the scratch for you at ~$100-120/each

you can try DIY, but not recommended...

i searched here and many people said the SSR won't send out parts of the wheel and won't let people like me have a shop assemble the wheels to ensure SSR quality. is that true?

I don't need to replace anything yet. But i would like to know before hand.

I have small rock scratches right now. I think rocks are bouncing around in the wheel area and leave little scratches. I also have a small mark from the tire machine getting the tire replaced.

How good is a dremel?
