Need help with TPMS question
I'm curious about something. I had a second set of TPMS sensors programmed to my car today. My first set is on my stock rims. I checked the "set tires" feature on my car and it's showing it as under "Main". I asked them to program it as a "2nd" set. Is it possible that they could have deleted the information from my Original TPMS sensors? Or are they both still linked to my car? Thanks...

This is on the 2007 Lexus IS250 AWD correct? If it is then from our TPMS Engineer...
"Yes, you can easily override the OE set of sensor ID codes.
At the dealer:
The dealer can save the new ID codes in either location (MAIN or 2nd) without pushing the button in the vehicle.
At a tire shop:
If the vehicle is currently programmed to be looking for the MAIN set and they just registered new sensors to the vehicle, those sensors are now the MAIN set. They just saved over the original MAIN set. They needed to have pushed the button so the vehicle was looking the 2nd set so the new sensors would be registered as the 2nd set."
Hope this helps.
