Has anyone put 265x40-17 tires on the rear using the stock 17" lexus wheels? they should be the same height as the 235x45-17 tires on the front. I know they recommend using at least 9" wide wheels. How wide are the stock wheels 8"?

265 is not gonna work on the stock 17" rims. Some guys have gone 245 on the stock 17" but with the 8" width you are not gonna go wider than that. If you want 265, you'll need to get some new rims.

More on that - I don't think you'll fit a 265 in the front wheel well without rubbing.
I was going to leave the 235x45-17 on the front.
