Default 98 GS400 with oversized tires on L-sportline suspension, 245/40/19

does anyone have L-sportline suspension(or something as low) and have oversized tires? 245/40/19. I believe these are 1inch higher than stock. I wanted to change to a higher tire and needed to determine if this change in tire hieght will rub in any way.

Anyone have experience with this?

let me know..... i feel way to many bumps and seams in the road with 245/35's and 275/30's. i wanted higher sidewalls.

Plus 275/30 is too small for a 10inch wide wheel. At least i don't care for the effect of barely covering the side of the rim. 275/35 will give it the right effect.

I am thinking the same thing for my next tires too.

Damn 275/30 picks up EVERY imperfection.

The setup you are thinking of is basically the same as those on 20's with 245/35...about 1" larger in overall diameter.

I believe that Manaray rubbed some of the plastic inner fender for awhile but nothing beyond that.

Also, that 275/35 is still going to look too narrow for a 10" wheel as you are only changing the sidewall height and the tread width will remain 275 mm. I'd go to 285. I'm guessing your rear is a +41 offset so you would have to mod the fender a little. Talk to TinyGS as he has that setup (19s).

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
