Default Do tire widths differ between brands?

Do Hankooks V12 run wider than Bridgestone Potenzas??

I'm looking at changing tires from the OEM Bridgestones to Hankooks. Are the tire widths and sidewall dimensions that much different between two tires?

The current OEM tires I have:
Bridgestone Potenza RE050

Tires I'm looking at getting:
Hankook Ventus V12 Evo

With the current setup, if I were to get Bridgestones, I would want to go one size up in width because it is too much stretch for my taste.

My question now is if I were to get Hankooks, would the widths be wider than the Bridgestones? I read that it is a more squared off tire.

Thanks

Anyone? I've seen threads where people said it has a square shoulder in comparison to other tires, but for the tire width in this case what would you guys recommend?

Thanks

In general, Hankook tires run smaller in size when compared to other brands like BFG, Michelin, Continental, and Bridgestone.
