Peter, the car looks great. That type of style looks great on the Benz- let's face it, they don't have 'pretty' brakes (except the AMG cars).
I sure like the European look of the silver/polished lip. No bling-bling look for guys like us... it's called CLASS!

BTW, the SC430 will take up to an 11.0" wide wheel on the rear- this will require fender mods.
HRE makes a 4" outer lip in the 20" reverse rims... this would require axle stub mods on the SC430, however.

Hey Bob,
How "serious" of a mod is an axle stub mod that you mentioned. I am seriously considering the 20" R series with the 4" lip for my SC430. After modding the fenders, is there still any rubbing on dips or bumps when using an 20x11 rear wheel? I have 20x10's now with no mods and no rubbing.

Like Bob said, it's CLASS. Silver with a high polished lip IS THE WAY TO GO instead of chrome. CLASS all the way.
You know...gunmetal centers with a high polished lip would look great too...
