sc 430 wheel info needed...
sticking with the standard suspension, what are the largest wheels that can I put on without having to do any other modifications ?? Like the wheels but seems to be plenty of room for larger and wider wheels, looking to keep it sharp, not outrageous or gaudy. Any info greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

I have Work Rezax II's (20x9/20x10) on my SC430. I lowered it about 1.5" and still have a gap in my wheel well. I have not done any fender mods and I do not rub at all, so you will be fine with this set up on a stock suspension. I would consider lowering it if I were you. If not, you will have a huge gap in your wheel wells.
Check the SC430 gallery, you'll find plenty of SC430 pics (including mine! )

Thanks guys, how do I lower the car?? What is the offset and how would i find out what it is?? Excuse the ignorance, been a nail banger/builder since I was 19, no real experience with modifying cars.

You can do coilovers or springs to lower your car. I recommend Tein coilovers (haven't switched yet). Right now I'm using H&R springs for the GS which work fine on the SC430's. I'm not sure what the offset of my wheels are, but other CL members (ask one of the wheel sponsors) can help you.
