Offset affect Concave?
Been searching the web and I am aware that the width of the rim affects the concave, but does the offset?
Interested in MRR Hr3 in 20x9.5 (which provides the concave look as supposed to their 20x8.5) . They offer 35et and 40et in the 20x9.5..just wondering if the concave look is affected by the offset. Thanks for the info..

If you increase the wheel's width, the concaveness will definitely change. But for large changes in concaveness, the offset will have to be lower as well as having wider wheels because both make the wheel hub sit more recessed in relative to the outer wheel lip giving it that really concave look (if I'm not mistaken).

It depends on how many molds the manufacturer is going to produce.
Typically for one piece wheels the thinner/front wheels will be flat face in order to provide adequate brake caliper clearance for vehicles with protruding calipers. Now the wider wheels designed for the rear will have the concave face and offset usually won't matter.
All they need to do is machine the back pad of the wheel to change offset. In affect it's the same mold with a little machining to produce the range in offsets. Then they drill the PCD and badda bing badda boom, should be done.
