Default Can this really be the price?

I checked with my local lexus dealer today about buying the TRD wheels that are similar to the lowenhart LD1 for the SC 430 and they quoted me a price of $1,250 per wheel. Does anyone know if this wheel is available cheaper elsewhere?

That is ridiculous.

Buy some other wheels that look nicer.

Late.

unless your are looking at TRD magnesium, otherwise the price should not be so expensive...

At $1250 per wheel, you can buy some of the best wheels out there...HRE.

And you can get REAL Lowenhart LD1's for less than $1250 each in 20"...

Default My guess is

It's the typical "handling" fees that have added up.

Lowenhart made'em for TRD LH probably charges $625 per wheel, and now Lexus is adding the customary parts "handling" markup of 100% to $1,250. Simple really.

Does anyone know a retailer out there where I could find these wheels instead of going through the dealer. The internet sites I've checked don't seem to list TRD?

Default TRD is only Toyota dealers

TRD authorization is most likely restricted to Toyota Dealers, and only a select bunch of Toyota dealers will qualify.

Whoever told you that the TRD wheels cost that much should be smacked. You can get the set of 18's in chrome for around $1,700.00 if you do your homework. If you have any questions at all, contact me. I know what cost is because I worl for Lexus. Take care, Mike D.
