What kind of wheels do you have? It was my fault that I didn't check my wheels all the way before I mounted them. Of course after I mounted the tire I noticed I had a small dent in mine as well. Since the tire is on, the wheel is mine.

I talked to my wheel distributor and he said I can't just buy the lip but I need to call him again and ask if they can send my wheel to Lexani and they can replace it.

There has to be a way to replace it since it is an "added" piece.

Most makers of one-piece wheels with stainless rings do not offer replacement rings.

More than likely, they will make you buy a new wheel.

Yes, I can confirm what SoCal said. I have Vossens and pm'd Jav about replacement lips and he said they do not replace them. That sucks since my wheels are not actually bent but the lip is, and also have some curbage.

not being able to replace them is the primary reason i hate stainless inserts, with a bend or rash on the actual rim it's a simple matter...

Yeah I agree PD. Jav did suggest that a repair shop could remove the stainless insert and polish the real lip. The only reason I'm not sure I would do it is the fact that I don't know what the wheel looks like under the insert. I asked if Jav maybe had any pictures showing what the wheels look like under but got no response on that matter, so it is still a mystery to me. If it looks the same as the stainless insert, then cool I would do it. Hopefully it's not flat and squared off at the edge.

The stainless lip is pressed in and glued, at least from what I've seen. If someone purchases a new wheel and has a spare this would be a good time to see what it looks like under that stainless lip! Until then or at least until the manufacturer/rep decides to provide pictures it's all a mystery.

I've pm'd that jav guy too as well as posted in threads and he doesn't respond.
