The Lexus IS-F 2008 OEM wheels they are selling is Replica, right? Starting from $299 per rim sounds too cheap.

Anybody actually buy rims from that site or similar sites like getallparts.com? Been looking at both websites and the prices for OEM rims are pretty good. Almost TOO good...

My speculation is that these are knock-offs (reproductions), not OEM wheels. With that said they're all cast, most likely no where near the quality of OEM, and most likely VERY heavy. An OEM wheel will weight somewhere around 25-28 pounds, a good flow form cast 18-25 pds, and forged less than 25 pds. For those who understand unsprung weight (not sure I completely understand), these wheels mean "show", not "go" as far as performance.

Found this thread. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...ish+line+wheel
Seems like the wheels are OEMs, refurbished and/or damaged take offs. Their return policy is hopeless. Warranty void if you put the wheel on a balancing machine. x

Does this give you peice of mind that you're making a good purchase from a sound company?:

"Finish Line Wheels offers a 30 DAY RETURN POLICY for wheels which have not been used. If wheels have had tires mounted on them, they have been used, and cannot be returned as part of this policy. If wheels have been on a Tire Machine (Mounter or Balancer), they cannot be returned as part of this policy. If you have not used the product, you would contact a representative from Finish Line Wheels to receive a Return Material Authorization Number (RMA#). Wheels are to be shipped freight prepaid. Returned wheels are inspected for use and damage. If Finish Line Wheels determines the product has been used, or the product is damaged, the product cannot be returned as part of this policy. Non-chrome wheels returned will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Chrome wheel returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Cancelled orders may be subject to a 6% credit card processing fee."

how in the world are you supposed to check to see if they are round unless you put it on a balancer and spin them???

at the same time, I wonder how they know it was on a balancer...
