on iforged wheels their valvestems are in the middle of the barrel sticking out vertically. so this is just an adapter to help mount the tpms flat to the barrel

I imagine it would work with any three piece wheel. You can also buy bands and brackets for TPMS sensors that will work with muti-peice or cast wheels. They look just like the kit below, I know Discount Tire sells them.

The sensor will report pressure to the ECU whether or not the valve stem is functional. The clips you are asking about are designed for wheels that cannot use the TPMS available in today's market. These clips are affixed to the wheel barrel as shown on your link, and the TPMS is attached to the clip. This then enables you to use a conventional non-TPMS valve stem on the wheel. The clips can either be epoxied or screwed on.

from my understanding there's 5 in my 2007 ES350. they relay a signal to the car and that determines if the light pops up or not. ... my question is... are those TPMS unique? like, if i were to buy rims, can i just pick 4 sensors and stick them in and my car will detect them? or do i have to get 4 sensors and a unit that replaces what the car has already? or can you adjust your signal like a garage door opener?
