finding it hard to get a straight answer..

what is the optimum wheel size to fit the Wald arch kit,from pictures im assuming its a 19"....

however other than that i cannot find anything,even emailed wald japan

i wish the wheel rims to run flush with the arch edges

If that fender addition is in addition to the factory fender, and doesnt involve the removal/modding of the factory fender lip for installation, you are still going to be limited to the original specs for wheel fitmant on the IS. Maybe consider cutting the factory fender, and moulding the Wald fender, essentially creating a "wide-body" IS???? That is, if your trying to get crazy with the wheel/tire widths....

what size are we looking at,and do you know the make of wheels.

so are we saying i have to run with my 7.5 x 18 and 8.5 x 18 that i have fitted now

I would be mis-informing if I tried to answer that. One of our members, John(Lexus_IS300), who you know as well, did the Blitz Z1's in 19x8 235's, 19x10 265's with fender mod. I believe he rolled and pulled......
