Need tire suggestions for STRETCH look
I have some Works VS-XX(18x8,18x9) and the set on them now are almost done. I am ccurrently running 275/35/18 R, 245/40's/18 F. I had the meaty look before and wanted to go with a stretch look this time and like to know what sizes ya'll suggest/recommend.

Usually I would only stretch my tires unless it need to be. Because IMO if it's your daily car you would want to get as much tire on the surface as possible for a better ride quality and handling. But that's just me maybe someone else would think differently. Have you look into lower profile tires?

what are your wheel offsets?
running stretched tires just for the look and not because you actually NEED the clearance between tire and fender (which had better be shaved/rolled before you go to stretching) is just stupid imho.
that said, if you are low enough and have aggressive enough wheels with at least rolled fenders, and STILL have rubbing/clearance issues, you can run a mild stretch for daily driving.
I've been rolling 225/35 on a 9j and 245/35 on a 10.5j wheels for the past 2 years with not a single blowout. just keep an eye on your tire pressure, drive safely, and check the inside of the tires every week or so for camber/toe wear. (you'd better get an alignment before your tires if you haven't recently.)

It will look funny if you stretched tires on 8 and 9 inch width for an SC. Coz you would need, for example, 215 on the front and 225 or 235 in the rear.....but you won't get a correct rolling diameter. For nicer stretch looks on an SC you would need at least 9 front and 10 rear with teen's offset, preferably 9.5 and 10.5
