Default Anyone with GOODYEAR EAGLE GT (Tires)

Looking into getting a set of All Season GOODYEAR EAGLE GT tires for my IS 350 and was just wondering if anyone had these or has had them before?

They are relatively cheap, in fact the cheapest I can find for a staggered OEM sized setup @ $546 shipped for all 4...

All opinions welcome...

THANKS!

I cant even believe how well I am able to take off, stop & turn.

Mind you I was driving on the stock Dunlop Summer Performance tires for the last 2 years and needless to say they freeze @ very low temperatures, and about 3 times a year I could not fully get off my driveway onto the street.

Anyway, Just wanted to update my experience with these for anyone who might be interested in them.
UPDATE: 03/11/2013

So, about 2 years, 6 months & 26,200 Miles later, these tires are ready to be replaced.

Not bad considering I am lowered on TEIN S-TECH springs, and the inner edges of the front tires prematurely wore out. I believe I could have made it to around 30k miles on the tires without the fronts edges wearing out.

I have them right now. pretty good. Nice grip in both wet/dry conditions, low road noise. Had them for about 5k miles so far.

I also have them on my 350. I have only driven in light snow and slush but they were excellent.

Well, I was talked out of the GTs and into the Goodyear F1 A/S by America's Tire. The F1s are wearing really well, but they are pretty noisy - not so much at highway speed. But, you can really hear them at low speed (like slowing to a stop). The GTs were still pretty new when I bought mine, so no one knew much about them. Next time, I'll probably try the GTs.

I'm looking to buy these tires for my Mercedes next spring (recommended in Car & Driver testing, good price, something to consider):

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo

Those look good, however I'm trying to stay away from Summer tires to have a better chance in the snow.

I looked at these and went with the Eagle F1 A/S.

No issues with the F1's for me at 10K. Plowed through last winter with no issues, 3-4 inches at most. Crossing finger this year, since our new home has a very step driveway.

True, better safe then sorry, however contrary to popular belief, we don't get as much snow as people think. The mountains do though...

When it does snow here in the city, its typically only on the roads for less then 24 hours...

I personally cant justify $800+ worth of rubber for the 7-10 days a year the snow actually sticks to the roads and makes it impossible to drive the 350 with summer performance tires.

Also, temperature plays a huge factor, I'm able to drive in the snow with the stock Dunlop (summer tires) as long as the temperatures don't go below 10 degrees... Anything 10 degrees and below (it seems) the tire compound literally freezes into something like hard plastic...

I had those for a year....hated every thing about them....got 2 bumps on the sides. Changed to Hankook v12's - this was the best thing I've done!
