Default Tire Fitment Help

Here is the story, i currently have the following set up on my 2007 GS350:

RIMS:
20 x 8.5 +38mm offset fronts (High Pad for BBK) 2" Lip
20 x 10 +42mm offset rears - 3.5" Lip

TIRES:
Pirelli PZero Nero tires
245/30R20 Fronts
285/25R20 Rears

imo, the tires are too "thin" around my rims and i feel like i can get a thicker tire on there. what size tires should i be looking to get for the front and back?

Im also in the same boat. I have the same offsets and sizes too. Im dropped on tanabe nf's and just wondering with the 245/35 and 285/30, do you think there will be any rubbing?

The front clearance shouldn't be a problem at all but the rear is a little aggressive. Under suspension compression, there maybe some slight tire rub. I recommend running a tire like Falken or Nitto as brands like this typically run smaller in size. Just like shoes, a size 9 Nike runs smaller than a size 9 Puma.

thanks for the recommendation but i have a question. how much of a difference is there between what i currently run and these sizes you suggested? only reason i ask is bc i either replace 1 tire or buy all new tires (so about $800 difference). thanks again

The sizes I suggested are 1" taller in overal diameter compared to your current sizes. This means you will be gaining 1/2" in sidewall height. Here's a tire size calculator you can use to compare other sizes.
