Chrome Enkei Zeus Opinions
After my very disappointing find that the LowenHart LD1’s are about $1000 over what I’m willing to go on wheels, I’ve decided not to go with any knock off or replica. It’s really to bad because I loved the look of those wheels. What I’m looking for is some opinions from other SC owners of how 18” Chrome Enkei Zeus wheels would look on our cars. It will have a T&E body kit to give you an idea. Pictured below are the Enkei’s. I'm looking for a wheel that most people would like but one that is not to common. Your opinion is greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone for the replies and good job using photoshop! I still don't know. My car is black and the T&E is an aggressive kit so I don't think the wheels would look out of place. I'm usually not that big on chrome but I think it looks good on this set.

there's a person in my area that has an SC exactly like mine. Same year and color. and after i got my rims he got some. ironicly he got those lowenhart LD1 u like so much. I heard throught the grapevine that he actually got knockoffs and jus put the lowenhart sticks on it. I think they look pretty nice but i'm not really big on chrome. I guess u could take the same route he did if u really like the look. No one else would know except u me and everyone one else on the forum

It's okay, when the chrome paint cracks and chips around the lugnuts, his wheels begin to rust around the hub, the chrome begins to "oxidize" in color, and the cast iron wheels crack because it's weak (yet still heavy), he'll be done with those rims. Oh and you can tell a knock-off chrome job from a real Lowenhart chrome job from 20-feet away. Plus you can't fake a 3-piece wheel, but you'll still look chessy trying.

check importuner magazine and turbo magazine!
Dude,
I've seen cheap knockoffs of the LD1's all over the place. Check those two magazines. WAY cheaper and look the same.
DOn't give up on em

New Plan
Thanks again for the opinions. I think I’m going with a deferent set altogether. These are the Zeit RR’s. They’re a JDM wheel. I’ve decided our cars don’t need really flashy wheels to get attention and I think these will look better with the T&E kit. I really did like both the LowenHart’s and the Enkei’s but when I put them on my car in Corel photo paint, they just didn’t look as good as the Zeit’s. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

LD-1s are by far the most knocked off rim in the world. Diablo, Katana, Axis, BSA, Arceo, Kaizer, Ace, and probably many others---all make an LD-1 knock offs.
My favorite JDM brands are WEDS and Work, check 'em out:
