New Tires: Nitto NT850 Premium. My Review
Tire Review
Nitto NT850 Premium
Dry Traction/Handling: The NT850 Premium tire has unique design characteristics which contribute to great traction, and a very smooth ride. Being that it is classified as a “Luxury Touring” tire, the handling at higher speeds, and responsiveness are not as crisp as a performance tire. At higher speeds during cornering, the tire does give and does not respond the best, however it is surely stuck to the ground, just loses road feel and a bit bouncy.
Wet Traction/Handling: In rainy weather, the NT850 sticks to the road, and performs pretty much as well as it does on a dry surface. Very minimal to no slip in normal driving conditions, hardly any hydroplaning if at all due to the fact that it channels enough water away through its tread design.
Comfort: The NT850 is an extremely smooth riding tire. It absorbs small bumps and vibrations very well. The tire is not as quiet as you would expect for a “Luxury Touring” tire, however the road noise is moderate and ignorable.
Overall: The NT850 is a great performing all season tire with great traction and handling in dry or wet situations, with a very smooth and comfortable, moderately quiet ride. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a touring oriented tire.

As always, Perform an alignment after installing new tires.

I would not perform alignment after installing new tires, unless there was an obvious problem with the alignment and old tires didn't have even wear. Most RWD cars, even ones with IRS rarely require alignments, unless some of the suspension parts have been replaced.
And if you're going to have alignment service performed, make sure to find a shop with a modern alignment machine, such as Hunter, and make sure whoever is operating it knows what he's doing. A lot of these shops with older machines can't do proper alignment.

just had a set of these installed on my wife's Camry. it's only been a few hours but i put 100 miles on them already. so far, i love them. they are much quieter than the NT555s which what we had on previously. what sold me was that the treadwear was rated at 500 and it was from Nitto.
