My new JDM coffee table
Well I received my aftermarket lug nuts so I will have it running very soon, and I also got a reply back from AC, and they don't include any lug nuts for my wheel after all. Their explaination was it's too complicated to include lug nuts. (seriously that's what they said) But I was told by a RL friend of mine who's been in the industry for a while it's something more serious. I will put my thoughts together and start a new thread about that later.
Peter, I measured the centerbore of my wheel and it's about 75mm, I don't know what that really means but I thought you might want to know.
In the mean time here is a pic of my new wheels. Mike, you're right it does make a great coffee table. Can ya hook me up with some JDM table glass too?

Great info! Please post the additional info...dunno why AutoCouture has issues with the lugs...
SEE! Now that's putting your wheels to good use while you wait to get them installed!
I want to make a 2JZ-GTE coffee table (with a dead 2JZ-GTE that just looks nice of course!)...anyone have a dead 2JZ-GTE that "looks" ok? (no blown out cylinders!)

kaban,
glad everything worked out fine...AC has one of the best diamond cut finish in the wheel making industry, imho. that is what you got, right
on the lugs, i was told once there had been incident that during transportation, the lugs were spilled all over inside the box and the wheel finish was scratched badly. perhaps that is one of many reasons why some makers do not include them anymore.
gsintensive had to wait an extra week for his wheel because the ceter cap got slided put of its little box during domestic shippment in japan. so it was send back for replacement of entire wheel because there was some minor scratches on that $1k/piece wheel

But I need one that no one wants to rebuild...just a dead one...I'm going to have it cleaned up and have it powder coated...maybe chromed

William, I agree ac's diamond-cut is among the best out there, everytime I look at it the detail just gets better and better. The finish is just high quality anyway I look. I am very tempted to show the pics right now but I heard I have the only set in town or in the whole city even. So I must keep it under wraps as a coffee table for a little bit.
Thanks for the lug nuts btw, I'll send it Monday morning.
