Default would these specs work on a GS?

hey i'm considering buying some rims for my gs but i'm not sure if the rims will work on the gs...here is the information....

18x8 Chrome Lowenhart LGMs, +47mm offset, universal 4 and 5 lug

these rims were on a IS before and I wanted some opinions on if those specs would look ok on a gs. i know most people get at least 18x8.5 so i'm not sure. thanks in advance for the help.

The will work fine on your GS...you can still run 245 size tire but the sidewalls will "bubble out" a little...+47 will sit a bit...enough to notice...unless youre getting these for damn near nothing, I'd save up and buy some 19 x 8.5's....but if you really like them....

thanks manaray for your input, i definitely want to stick to 18s because I want to save as much ride quality as possible. my main concern was the width. but the deal is pretty good for some basically brand new lowenharts.
