I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I think these tires have been available for a very long while, and I notice that they no longer have the size I need for the rear wheels on my IS350, which is 255/40 18 -- a size that I'd suspect is pretty popular. I thought this might be an indication that they're slowing/stopping production...?
Or have they never made that size for some reason? And/or it's just temporary lack of stock?
It's a shame, because I really wanted these tires. I've heard a lot of good things about them, but I think I need that size... bigger tires might rub with my setup.
I might have to go for the Pilot Sport A/S Plus instead... which I guess, according to tests and reviews at tirerack, is not much of a downgrade.

Just strange that they'd have practically every width except that one... They don't have any 255 width 960s, but they have 245- and 265+.
EDIT: Actually, they're missing a few other widths, too... Seems very weird to me for such a hugely popular tire.
