VREDESTEIN SNOWTRAC TIRES....Good deal?
Is this a good deal?
VREDESTEIN SNOWTRAC tires 205-55-16
Approximate tread for 3 tires: 7-8/32
About 70-80% of tread life left
1 tire is:
Approximate tread: 9-10/32
About 95% of tread life left
For $242.70 shipped.
They have good reviews and is similar to the Dunlop winter sport 3d..It's the type of winter tire I need. Just want to know if you guys think it's worth it...

For used tires, it sounds kinda high...
For the same money, I think I'd rather buy either the Firestones or Generals brand new, vs take my chances on a set of used tires... Alright, well, on TireRack, it'd be probably like $80 more after shipping, but still... 7/32 is almost half worn... most tires come with 10/32 or 11/32 tread... assuming its 11/32, you don't get to use the last 2/32, and snow tires are pretty useless once they get less than 4/32 tread... so, out of 7/32 usable tread, they are already worn 4/32 of that...

Good points.....and over the weekend I was thinking the same thing. Tires are extremely important to invest in especially winter tires. I will def buy new.
