What size tire would fit best?
I have the following wheels:
17 x 6.5, +55 offset. Stock size 215/50/17.
I want to put on 225/45/17 but I am afraid they will be too wide. Do you have any feedback?
I've previously used 215/45/17 but I want a wider tire. Any help is appreciated.

it'll fit just fine... keep in mind 225/45 is a little shorter than 215/50 though (and 215/45 is a decent amount shorter)
Also, keep in mind that even though it will fit, 225's are recommended to be on a 7-8.5" wide wheel... this can result in some wander in the steering (though we are just outside of he recommended range)
