Arrow Michelin Primacy MXV4 for my GS4?

The OEM tire size on my 2000 GS400 is 225/55-16 (94V). I've read some great reviews like low road noise, nice ride comfort and great tread wear from Tire Rack and Consumer Reports websites on the new Michelin Primacy MXV4 and my mind is leaning heavily towards this tire for my car to replace the Goodyears. However, this Primacy MXV4 doesn't have the same size to match my OEM size. The closest it has in the V rating is either a 215/55-16 (93V) or 225/60-16 (98V). Since the OEM calls for a 94V load rating, I feel the 225/60 98V maybe the better choice since it offers a higher load rating but it's about 0.9inch larger in outside tire diameter which means the actual speed will be higher than what's shown on the speedometer. Since I don't have a factory GPS system, the slightly larger tire diameter should not affect the rest of the car system (Will it affect the ABS performance?). What are your thoughts on this Primacy MXV4 for my GS4 and my choice of tire size? Thanks.

If you live in a normal weather (sunny) area. I recommend you getting the Yokohama S-Drive. It's a summer tire with great handling and ok comfortable that is WAYYY cheaper than Michelins. GL

GS4 Fiend, unfortunately I live in the Midwest where snow and ice are common problems during winters so summer tires are not even an option. Even some all seasons tires I have tried including Goodyear GTs are really not suited for winter driving which is the reason why I've gone to Blizzak WS60 snow tires during winter to make my GS4 driveable. The Michelin I stated based on various reviews seems to provide all around comfort, quiet ride and long tread wear for a fairly reasonable price ($150 each at Sams Club or Costco). My only concern is how this slightly larger diameter tire will affect the car's ABS system.

The Bridgestone Turanza with Serenity tech. should be a great fit for your car. I've got a set on my Infiniti and they are great. We don't get much snow down here in Arizona so I can't vouch for them in snow but they are rated all season so they're probably OK.

i dont like how fast bridgestones wear...

i have the michelin pimacy mxv4's on my ES and i love them...great traction in rain, snow, ice and dry...they grip relativly well, and they are QUIET. Best part is theyre rated at like 60k for longevity...theyre pricey but i love em...

for the GS, maybe consider the michelin pilot performace all seasons? My dad has those on his TL and theyre real nice tires
