Default Need suggestion on New Tires

Ok it is time for some new shoes on my 96 LS400. It came with Goodyear's on them when I bought her used. I will not ever go there again. Can someone offer me some help for some tires. 225/60/16. I am considering Kuhmo Solus
Obviously I want ride/comfort and quite tires. Thanks for the help

there are so many options, and the Kumho's are bottom of the barrel...

Michelin, Bridgestone, many more options... do you at least have a price range? What about driving conditions?

Never any snow, the car is my road car. Travel 5 days a week in it, about 3-6k per month. Need something comfortable, QUITE, and that will give me decent tread life. I do drive a lot, so I know I go thru tires.

Well, you said no Goodyear, so, here are my recommendations...

Avid H4S / V4S
Firehawk GT
Traction T/A V/H

Those three I have had good luck and should last 50-60k miles, and all have a speed rating of H, with the Avid and T/A having the higher, OE V speed rating... either will work, but you'll probably get more mileage out of the H ratings in those tests...
