Are those called sphere rims? You've seen them in MTV cribs. I've seen them in person on a mercedez right next to me while we were in downtown. $10,000 a piece right? They are rediculously sweet! Just curious where to buy them?

Don't do it!!! OMG please don't. Those are ridiculous. IMO it would make any Lexus ghetto. If you get them and end up liking them then more power to you. I just would not be caught dead with them.

I agree with Hermosa that these wheels would not look good. The wheels are made by Davin and run around 15k for a set of 20s with tires. I believe superbuytires.com or sprewellracing.com could get them for you.

Yes, HRE does manufacture them for Davin, but the concept was developed by and is 'owned' by Davin Wheels. Shaq has a set- they're quite popular with the athlete/rapper crowd.
I didn't think much of them until I saw them in person: they're actually really neat to see in action. Not that they'd ever go on one of my cars... check 'em out!

Other HRE wheel owners:
Missy Elliott
Tim Hardaway
Billy Blanks
Ray Liotta
Tea Leoni (hottie)
David Duchovny (lucky- married Tea)
Tim Hardaway
David Wells
R. Kelly
... to name just a few

Thanks SoCalSC4 for the link! Me and my friends been trying to find these wheels for a long time. Just curious as to who makes them and what they're called.

I don't know about you, but I like my rims spinning the same speed and direction as my tires. It's just... 'RIGHT'. That being said, I'd never spend $15,000 for wheels, let alone wheels that did that. It's a good thing they cost that much money though. Can you imagine how many Civics would be riding on those if they were say $3000/set. It would get so out of hand here that I'd apply for citizenship in Cuba or somewhere else where it's illegal.

I don't know, I think they're pretty damn cool, especially on that Benz wagon in the Davin wheels video. If I had the amount of money where I could afford that much for rims, I'd get a set to play with. It's alot better than having the same old set of $2,000 or $3,000 wheels that everyone else rolls on. Cheap stuff gets played out too quickly! (IMO) And besides, $2,000 or $15,000, either way it's rediculous to spend that much on wheels period. But I'm as guilty as the next person. I think about the money I waste on cars and I realize how stupid it is. But cars are my love and I can't stop. Oh well.

spinning wheels = lame, ghetto, ricer...
Wait until the cheap versions come out (like CSHFLW said, at SEMA, there were many...)...then every ricer will have them...
