will a 275/30 fit on a moda R6rim 19 x 9?
I just spoke to George over at tirerack and he said that Moda R6 19 inch x 9 inch (45 offset) with will not fit 275/30/19 tires's because 275 require a 9.5 inch rim. I seen post on here that people say they do fit fine.
Do they or not?
Is it because the tire brands i've choosen?
I was looking at yoko AVS or bridge s-03 pole positions.
Anyone have 19x9 with 275's? Let me know.

they will fit but you'll get a "SUV" type bubbling effect since the tires are technically too wide for that wheel...tirerack is against oversizing the tires (but not undersizing) from what I've seen..
Personally, I'm against both. I prefer to have the "right" size tire on the "right" size wheel width...why not just get a 265?

245/30-19? No such tire!
If there were, it would be really short for any Lexus bigger than the IS. What model are you working on?
Also, what brand of tire are you looking at? Toyo (for example) states that a 275/30-19 needs a minimum of a 9.0" wide rim, with 9.5" being optimal. In reality, the 275 will look really 'pinched' on a 19x9. Pinched, but within the design parameters of the tire...

just make sure you go 19X8 in the front. I had 18X9 all around and the fronts stuck out a bit. Tirerack was nice enough to ship me out 18X8 for the fronts and I just threw them on yesterday. They fit perfect now.

i was looking for the max size on the rear, not the front.
i want 19x9 with a 275/30
will it fit on the rim?? Tire rack's web site shows it as an option but wheni ordered it over the phone he said it doesn't work with 9 in rim.
Does anyone know if a 275/30 will fit on a 19x9 moda R6??
