Hi

I am trying to buy some winter alloy rims for my 2005 LS430. I know a number of Lexus rims won't fit due to the big brakes. I have found a set of 5 spoke alloy rims/tires off of a 2000 GS400. Can anyone confirm if these will fix my LS430?

Man...I am confused.

There is this thread talking about swapping between an 06 GS and LS430...

Then others talking about LS430 rims on a GS, and maybe needing hubcentric rings.

So, do I need to stick to LS430 only rims? I had read that 95 and later LS400 rims will fit the 430s. Can anyone confirm that?

06+ gs wheels can possibly fit on the ls430 because they are high disk. you need high disk wheels to clear the calipers on the ls430 (gs350/430/460/450h have big brakes).

however all 2gs do not have big brakes so the wheels are not high disk, thus not capable of clearing the brakes on ls430, unless you put spacers

OK...one last question then. I believe I have read, but want to make sure before I buy and them shipped to me....will 95+ LS400 wheels fit the LS430?

yes, 95-00 LS400 wheels will fit over LS430 calipers. 89-94 LS400 wheels will NOT fit.
