why is aftermarket TPMS not recommended for cars with tinted windows?
I was looking at the one sold by TireRack....(Hella or something...)

I have one car that came with TPMS and it worked just fine after I had it
tinted.(50% front windows and 35% rear windows)

I'm thinking about adding the aftermarket TPMS on my other car that doesn't
have it. However, it's also tinted.(50% font and 20% rear windows) Will the
TPMS signal not get through with this much tint?

Thanks for any info!

some tint has a metallic coating to it... if yours doesn't, no problem... even if yours does, it might not matter... the metallic coating can sometimes affect cell phones, antennas, and XM radio antennas...
