Carlsson Wheels
Does anyone have a set on their ride. What are they like and so forth, any pics.
I am planning to buy the 1/6 evo 19x8.5 with 245/35/19 all the way round.
Let me know if anyone has some insight on these rims..
thanx

I had a set of 18x8 1/6s on a C280 benz I previously owned. IMO the 1/6 evo is a much more beautiful rim. Carlsson is known for MB tuning and IMO has a good reputation for quality. Nice wheel.
FYI the tire rack has 'em for $259.00 each. IMO that's a killer deal for 19x8.5.

Great looking wheel and they make then Japanese bolt patterns and offsets...Carlsson Japan is really starting to open up to non-Mercedes tuning...I have a picture (it's an official ad) of a Carlsson Cima (our Q45...the older one though) with their wheels...the Q has a body kit but I think it's a AutoCouture kit...
But I dunno if I'd do that wheel on a Lexus...it's too...Mercedes... It'll probably bring down the reliability of your Lexus...heheheheh...

Carlssons are nice quality wheels I would recommand getting a 5th one as a spare, incase you bent one. The Evo's in 19 might be getting discontinued soon, I remember Tirerack also had a big sale on the 18x8.5 before they stop selling it.

Just stopping by to say "hi".

Can you do better on pricing than tire rack? What about the chrome 1/6?

Wait, these 19x8.5 Carlsson wheels are only $259 each?!?? I can't get any prices for Carlsson wheels on TireRack! Also, do Carlsson wheels all come with the MBenz center cap? That would seem cheesy to me, especially on a Lex. Is $259 for silver or chrome? Hopefully the chrome wouldn't cost too much more. That GS looks beautiful with those wheels!

1/6 evo
the bolt pattern is discontinued, I talk with vera at tirerack, and she told me that carlsson, will not be making a lexus bolt pattern for the wheel, it will however continue to made but with a MB bolt patterns. With this said i did verify that carlsson will custom make them for lexus upon demand, so that if you wreck a rim, you are not screwed.
the 259 price is for silver, with polished lip.
