Default How to remove clearcoat oxidation from rims??

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove clearcoat oxidation from rims?

What would be the process to remove the oxidation and then getting them polished?

Thanks for the help!

sorry to break it to you, but clear coats don't oxidize...they just fail. only single-stage primer+base coat can experience oxidation.

sounds like you need respray on your wheels.

The clear coat peeled off and left the rim exposed to salt, which has now damaged the rim.
