Default Falken 452

Just ordered a set and wondered what those who have them think of them. I tried some Falkens many years ago and swore I would never try them again. But I needed a 245-30 front tire and there weren't many choices where I bought these. If you guys don't like them, I will cancel the order.
WHat's the deal on them?

I need some tires too and other members I spoke to have recommended these, and they have the sizes I need, plus they are very reasonable price.

I have these tires. At first they were great but then around 2-3k miles, they started to develop tire noise. And now because they wear out pretty crappy, I have to keep on rebalance every few months or so. Crispy had them for his car (even though stretched) and they've developed a bubble within 6 months or so (they were new). I've given falken too many chances and I *thought* they got their act together with the 452, but i've been disappointed once again. NEVER EVER will i buy falkens again. I'm going to pay more next time to get quality.

But then again, there are people out there who are happy with them.

I was in the same boat as you. I vowed not to buy Falken. i dont know why I bought them recently. Perhaps the price was attractive and thinking the 452 were made for luxury cars, their standard would have been higher. I think most people are recommending Toyo for value.

Problem is choices are so limited. Michelins cost a brick. Continental doesn't have the 275-30 rear I want. I'm kinda stuck.

If you *have* to get falkens, then buy the extended warranty for a few bucks more per tire.

Naw...I'm probably gonna get the Michelins. I just hate to spend that much knowing I recently put a set of crappy Kumho tires on my wifes car. SHe gonna have a fit.

You must have some association with Falken to call the tire great. That's a very tall word to attach to a lower cost tire. If they were so great why did you switch?

Also, I tried the Invo and hated them.

Remind me to never buy tires you recommend.

Sorry for the sarcasm but I can't believe my eyes.

i too was thinking to get the 452s for my 17s...but deterred after reading so many mixed reviews on them. if the arena is mostly 50/50 on an item, i'd rather look elsewhere. i've had toyo's on 19s and pleased so far...so i'm thinking toyo's for my 17s.
