I'm thinking of ordering a set of wheels/tires for my SC300 and, as this is the first car I've owned that is worthy of some serious attention, I'd appreciate any insight you foks can give.

I don't want to stagger the sizes for rotation purposes.

1) Has anyone seen a wheel that looks like the Action's, split 5 spoke but specifically with a bit of flaring near the rim, but WITHOUT the annoying bolts at the spoke/rim join?

2) Has anyone seen the anthracite finish on the Mille wheels in person? How does it look? How about on a midnight Indigo Pearl (dark blue) lexus? (Dark on dark?)

3) Will there be any rubbing, etc by this size tire?

4) I've heard the ABS db's have a longer treadlife than other high perf. summer tires due to its' (barely) all season rating. Anyone know how long they should last, from experience or otherwise?

5) The recommended tire size for this wheel is 245/40-18... how wide a tire could I get away with?

6) I'm concerned about moving up from a 215/60-15 stock tire to an 18". The roads arn't the best in Toronto, Canada, what with the barbaric salting and weather changes just chewing up the asphalt. How many people have warped 18" wheels here?

7) Any votes on the best looking wheel for a SC3/4? (I smell debate)
