Tires? Michelin Pilot Sport A/S for my 08 GS AWD?
Need a little help in choosing tires. Does anyone have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S on their 3GS? How do they perform? Any other suggestions?
I live in Philadelphia where we get all types of weather.Snow, Ice, Rain, everything. I had a Maxima before my 3GS and I always had Ultra-High Performance All-Season tires on it. Started with Toyos, then Yokohamas, and then ended with Falkens. I loved the Yokohamas. They were great. I can honestly say my max never got stuck in the snow because of the tires.
I'm looking for a tire that has great handling and performance but also is a champ in the snow.
Thanks for the help!

Bridgestone Potenza 960 A/S Pole Position - tires are unreal!!! Besides being #1 rated UHP A/S tire (for a very good reason), I can confirm that having these for over 1k miles already these are amazing. I'm live in Central Jersey and we get all the same weather elements plus swiss-cheese pothole roads. Drove these once in a light snow, and a lot of heavy rain driving - all perfect. Improved handling and much better grip on turns (in comparison to OEM runflats). Ride is still very comfortable and quiet, while you feel road pretty good. The best of all, I got it from Bridgestone shop and they matched TireRack price to the penny. There was one person in 3GS forum (Rexus300) who had an issue with these on 18” wheels (off RWD 3GS), but other than that – I haven’t heard any complains about it. Michelin is still a great tire, but more expensive and not as high rated as Potenza.

Yeah I definetly know what you mean about the swiss-cheese roads about here. We have the same thing in Northeast Philly, on my previous car, I needed to replace my shocks a few times. Thanks for the help...I'll check the Bridgestone's out.
