need advice Goodyear Viva 2 brand!
My 2000 GS 300 originial tire size is 225/55/16 inch, I wonder if I can go to 225 but in 60 same 16 inch to save some money, Is it possible to change from 55 to 60, does it affect the driving condition?
Also any body use the Goodyear Viva 2 tire brand at Walmart before?
Currently onsale this brand for $75 per Viva 2 tire in 225/60/16 inch
Does it affect the driving changing from 55 to 60?
Thank you for all your help!

shouldn't have any problems other than the fact that you're buying tires for a lexus at walmart....
if you want a cheap good tire just go to a tire place and get Fuzion HRi's, i have them in the stock 215-55-16 and they ride excellent, and at only 75 a tire with supposed 40k mile treadwear you really can't go wrong.

originial speed rating is H-130 for 225/55/16 tire, so T-118 rating should be fine right since I am driving with the speed 118 mile.
Treatwear warranty means anything like 50,000 or 60,000 or 80,000 mile, does it mean tires last longer?
What advice new tires in 225/60/16 what brand and reasonable price?
Thank you for all your help

Going from an H rated tire (which is considered a performance tire) to a T rated tire is a huge difference. T is considered a touring tire (as is S and below). They do not have reinforced sidewalls, so your car will not handle the way it is supposed to... It is not about the maximum speed of the tire, it is about its internal construction, and speed rating (aka performance rating) is crucial to the vehicles handling.
Also, going from 225/55-16 to 225/60-16 will be a softer ride, less handling performance again, and will screw with your odometer, speedometer and fuel mileage...
A quick glance at Tire Racks site shows a couple tires around your price point that are correctly sized and have the correct performance rating...

The Goodyear viva2 is what i put on my cavalier with 149,000 miles...that i paid $1000 for.
I would not TOUCH that lexus with ANYTHING less than the Assurance lineup as far as goodyear is concerned. These are the only tires they make that are worth a damn for everyday applications.
If you care about road noise, the Viva2 is not the one you want LOL.

As far as reliability, they seem ok, but I wouldn't put them on my car...
The least expensive, decent tire, in the original size that I would run, would be the Kumho ASX... through Tire Rack, they are only $70 a tire...
